The pichwai printed wooden tray combines practical everyday use with decorative artwork, making it suitable for serving, gifting, pooja arrangements, and festive home styling. Crafted from wood and finished with printed artwork, the tray is designed to be functional while still looking attractive enough to leave on display.
The available designs feature colourful motifs inspired by Indian decorative art, including peacock artwork, Krishna-inspired elements, and floral patterns. Each print gives the tray a distinct personality, allowing customers to choose a design that suits their décor, gifting theme, or occasion. The dark wooden border frames the artwork neatly and gives the tray a more structured, finished appearance.
At approximately 8 x 8 inches with a depth of about 1 inch, the tray offers a useful surface area without becoming bulky. It works well for carrying tea cups, small bowls, dry snacks, wrapped sweets, candles, jars, pooja accessories, or compact gift combinations. The slightly raised sides help keep smaller items contained while moving the tray from one place to another.
Metal-style side handles make the tray easier to lift and carry, especially when it is being used for serving or presenting gifts. The combination of a wooden frame and printed base creates a good balance between decorative appeal and practical handling. At around 252 g, the tray has enough substance to feel stable while remaining convenient to move and store.
For festive occasions, this printed wooden tray can be used as the base for a curated gift arrangement. Place a diya, sweets, dry fruits, haldi-kumkum holders, candles, or small décor pieces inside and wrap the tray as a complete gift. After the occasion, the recipient can continue using it as a serving tray or organiser, making the presentation more useful than disposable gift packaging.
It is also a convenient choice for pooja and devotional spaces. The tray can hold flowers, incense accessories, kumkum containers, small bowls, or other lightweight pooja essentials. Designs featuring peacocks or Krishna-inspired artwork pair especially well with festive settings and devotional décor without making the piece feel overly ceremonial for everyday use.
Around the home, the tray can be placed on coffee tables, consoles, bedside tables, or dressing areas to organise small items such as keys, jewellery, candles, perfume bottles, or decorative accessories. The printed surface allows it to function as part of the décor even when it is not actively being used for serving.
To keep the tray looking neat, clean it with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth and wipe it dry immediately. Avoid soaking the wooden frame, placing it in a dishwasher, or using abrasive cleaning products. If used for food service, placing bowls, plates, or liners on the tray is recommended, particularly for oily or wet foods.
With its compact dimensions, attractive prints, and reusable design, this pichwai printed wooden tray is a versatile addition to festive gifting, pooja setups, entertaining, and everyday organisation.
